Meet Dr. Chen

Dr. Chen is a Harvard trained, double Board Certified psychiatrist who works with children, adolescents, young adults and their families. Her evidence based and collaborative approach helps patients find the best fit regarding their mental health treatment. Dr. Chen helps patients achieve their treatment goals with the fewest number and lowest dose of medication(s.) She will support patients to develop skills that manage symptoms long term to eventually graduate from psychiatric treatment whenever possible.

As a Child and Adolescent psychiatrist, Dr. Chen completed ten years of post graduate training after earning her Bachelors degree in Neuroscience at The Johns Hopkins University.  Dr. Chen graduated from medical school at The University of Toledo College of Medicine.  She completed her four year Adult Psychiatry Residency at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center/Case Western Reserve University and then completed her two year Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship at Cambridge Health Alliance/Harvard Medical School.

Dr. Chen grew up in Ohio and moved to Massachusetts to complete her medical training. She enjoys playing the guitar, watching nature documentaries and spending time with her dog, Oliver.
